Hidden deep in Uganda’s southwest, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest, and most biologically diverse forests on earth.

Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest national park, may be compact but it is full of surprises. Rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes form a peaceful refuge for wildlife that includes zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, leopard, and more than 300 bird species. The park’s landscapes rise and fall in gentle waves of savannah and forest, with the main lake supporting hippos and crocodiles. It is one of the few places in Uganda where impalas and zebras coexist, offering game drives and walking safaris that bring visitors closer to nature.
